He will explain their origin and provide information on the wines you are tasting. Classic Specials Market Menu and Wine of the Month

We’re bringing back classic dishes to kick off the New Year!

This January, you can enjoy some delectable dishes from our Classic Specials Menu. The White Hart, The Deddington Arms, Villiers and the Cartwright are all creating something different for you to try!

What’s Cooking………

Each restaurant will be serving their own interpretation of a classic dish. You may begin your fine dining experience with a Homemade Minestrone Soup, Melon with Parma Ham, or even Eggs Benedict!

For Mains……….

For your main course, we have a variety of dishes! These include Steak Diane, Coq au vin and Beef Stroganoff. All of your old favourites brought right up to date.

Delectable Desserts…….

Finish your feast by indulging in a Warm Bakewell Tart, Sherry Trifle, or Baked Alaska. Remember this is just a small selection of our dishes, we have many more to choose from!

Wine of the Month……..

This month we have a Vetriano Sangiovese for our wine of the month. A soft spicy red wine with red berry flavours, produced from Sangiovese grapes in selected vineyards in Puglia, southern Italy.

December’s Market Menu

December 7th, 2009

I’m pleased to announce that our well reviewed market menus will continue during the month of December.

Our chefs will maintain Game on the menu, as the dishes have been such a success with you, our customers.

The Wine of the Month is a great Tempranillo from Spain. Using the Temp Grape, this deep bright red is fresh to the nose carrying aromas of red berries, and smooth around the mouth.

At only £12 this offers great value, especially with the current price of the Euro.

All this leaves me to do is thank you for your custom and wish you all the best for Christmas and the New Year!

The November Game

Our chefs have gone Game mad this November! This month, we have combined some great game dishes into our Market Menu. These offer fantastic value at just £10.00 for a 2 course lunch, and £14.95 for a 2 course dinner or Sunday Lunch.

Why not accompany these great dishes with a bottle of our wine of the month! For November a bottle from the Oakwood winery, Australia, (exclusive to our supplier). I have gone for their blend of Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc, which offers citrus and apple flavours combining into a lighter style of wine. Obviously great value at just £10 per bottle.

This has proved to be extremely popular throughout August and heres hoping for an Indian Summer so the crisp fruits, with mineral hints of the Mosel, can be enjoyed through September. Obviously great value at just £10 per bottle.

I’ve discovered a wonderful bottle of wine from La Mancha, Central Spain. Raffine is a fruity, smooth, easy drinking red that can be served chilled. Perfect for the summer! For a wine so full of flavour, £10 a bottle really is great value.
