Venues for the English Music Festival are in and around Dorchester-on-Thames, a picturesque village in the Oxfordshire. The main venue of the festival is Dorchester Abbey, but also includes All Saints’ Church, Sutton Courtenay, and Silk Hall Radley College in Abingdon close to Dorchester-on-Thames.

Traditions live long in Oxford as can be witnessed on May Day as dawn breaks.

Spectators gather early in their thousands to hear the choir of Magdalen College sing in the new May dawn from the top of their chapel tower.

Morris Dancing will begin shortly after 6am in Radcliffe Square, and continue throughout the morning at various locations around the city, slowly moving north up to North Parade by midday.
